Welcome To BOHOL

Thinking of splurging on plane tickets to Thailand, Miami, or Cancún?  No need.

The reality is that you can enjoy your king/queen style hospitality in the Philippines. With its jaw-dropping US Dollar/Peso Conversion Rate, world-renowned hospitality, pristine white-sand beaches, lush tropical rainforests, chocolate hills (you heard that right), ethereal snorkeling and diving sites – there is a myriad of reasons why Bohol is the prime destination for tourists.

Ranked in a 2022 survey as one of the “Top 5 anti-racism, countries in the world…”, as well as, “…one the world’s safest places for female travelers…” by; The American Press, KA&CO International, and Black Kansas City Magazine, the Philippines has proved to be even more attractive to expat entrepreneurs of color and minorities.

For all of you geography buffs; located in Central Visayas, Bohol is an oval-shaped province bordered by the Camotes Sea on the north, the Bohol Sea on the south, and Cebu Strait on the west. Considered a key eco-tourism destination in the Philippines, it offers a plethora of beautiful natural and cultural attractions.

A true-trail-blazer, entry into Bohol is through the famed Bohol-Panglao International Airport, dubbed “the green gateway to the world” and the country’s first eco-airport. The airport is solar powered in part to its passenger terminals.

Perhaps the most popular tourist attractions on the island of Bohol are the iconic Chocolate Hills.  Deriving its name from the changing color pattern of green to brown during the dry season, it presents a perfect view from its adventure park.

The island boasts popular diving spots such as the Panglao and Balicasag Islands that allow you to explore the rich marine biodiversity of Bohol where you can spot reef sharks, sea horses, and black corals.

Another favorite stopover is the Bohol Bee Farm. From its humble beginnings, it has grown into a resort for tasty organic restaurants providing farm-to-table dishes, and homemade ice creams, topped with a celestial ocean view.

If you happen to be in Cebu, The Bee Farm branch there at SM Seaside also offers amazing organic meals.

The mesmerizing experience of Bohol lies not just in its tourist destinations but in the adventure in its entirety.
