Every year The Philippines Magazine International and JobStreet.com –as well as dozens of other media futurists- publish predictions and reports on the industry and lifestyle trends in the Philippines.
[dropcap]Though, entrepreneurship has topped the ‘Wealth List’ (with politics as a controversially-close second) in The American Press Service (T.A.P.S.) and PH MAG On-Line Lifestyle Reports, which take into account all sectors of the new Philippines lifestyle[/dropcap]. Entrepreneurship has a blanket-effect in the Philippines ranking from independent food carts, street food, and convenience or sari-sari stores, to beauty, spas, resorts, and Mega corporations.
However, right on-time for graduation, JobStreet.com has released their 2017 Junior Executives Salary Report: Employees with 1 to less than 5-years of experience in the field.
In the eye-opening report, IT-related jobs maintain their top ranking –still #1. But, legal and development have grown and that is as exciting sign. Young grads are fast-passing their last generation counter parts, and earning awesome wages right here in the Philippines.
The eye-opening part, is that abroad or OFW jobs are not mentioned at all. Not in any of their reports –nor in T.A.P.S. and PH MAG On-Line. An in terms of numbers, the Philippines has millions –and millions- of new and un-filled career jobs right now.
