Seven Shining Stars On August 15, 2022, in the Fashion Interiors Furniture Philippines in Makati, seven shining stars came together to form a Constellation. Brought together by the exhibit’s curator Michaela Villamor, these shining stars consisted of Alyssa Lucenara, Lec Alecxis Bacallo, Michelle Misoon Ko, Dennis Morante, Ronald Allan Pena, Benild Benvozz Abigan, and Jojit Gutierrez Begino.
It is Michelle’s goal to help promote undiscovered talented artists in the Philippines. To do so, she has been organizing solo and group art exhibitions with “Constellation” being her latest exhibit. For her, each artist is a star.
“They are talented in their own way, beautiful in their own way. When I gathered all of them, they formed like a constellation,”
she says when asked about the title of her latest exhibit.
The ribbon cutting was conducted by Helen Ong, Angola Consul, Marlan Manguba, Mrs. World Philippines 2014, and Lions Club Past District Governor, Ma. Jesusa Antiporda, Lions Club Past District Governor and wife of Benny Antiporda, National Irrigation Administration Administrator, and Henry Monzones, CEO of Qualitech Diagnostic and Medical Services.
The event was hosted by singer and actor Josh Adornado, and entertainment for the night was by Rexvin Wolfe Galang. Former Presidential Legal Adviser to Former President Duterte Atty. Salvador Panelo attended this event and enjoyed himself as he sang and danced throughout the night.
After the ceremonial ribbon cutting, host Josh Adornado interviewed each artist briefly about who they were as an artist and their inspirations. The Constellation exhibit ended until August 30, 2022, in Fashion Interiors, Makati. Visitors basked in the starlight to admire the creation of Michelle’s seven stars.
