Welcome Home Chelsea! Back in The New World-Class Bulacan, Philippines.

Listen up, y’all! The first Black Filipina Miss Universe Philippines, Chelsea Anne Manalo, is making waves, and she’s repping the vibrant province of Bulacan, bringing that global and Black Girl Magic impact right to the forefront! The world is watching as the Philippines embraces this Blazzian Queen with love and pride, and let me tell you, it’s a beautiful sight to see.

What are ultra-warm welcome home to Bulacan, from Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Governor Alex Castro, and the Philippines Magazine was there!

Manalo’s triumphant return to Bulacan wasn’t just a celebration of her victory—it was a showcase of the incredible talent and excellence that the people of Bulacan have to offer. From the stunning Singkaban float designed by Anthony Ramos to the vibrant flower and lei arrangements by Ms. Jonnah L. Garcia and the Puniquera group, Bulacan brought its A-game.

Roen Capule from Paombong crafted a beautiful trophy for Manalo, while Ms. MonaRich PBum and PS Flowers provided exceptional floral tributes. Shoutout to Mr. Manny Halasan and all the Bulakenyos in the pageant industry—your support was invaluable!

The event was electrified by performances from the Hiyas ng Bulacan Provincial Band, D’ Original Tribu Sta. Cruz Drumbeaters from Malolos, Mr. Rodnick Santos, and the Guintong Lahi Dance Troupe. The Singkaban-themed stage, designed by Mr. Jaziz Nicolai of JN Styling, was a visual masterpiece.

Chelsea marveled at the typewriter art by Mr. Justine Keyrose and polymer clay art by Mr. Ross Dionisio Marielett De Guzman Dionisio. Delicious food and beautiful music, courtesy of Orante’s Professional Lights & Sounds Rentals, added to the festive atmosphere. And the hit song “La Bulakenya” by Orange & Lemons, written by Mr. Clem Castro, was the perfect anthem for the celebration.

A big thanks to the Provincial Government of Bulacan, the Provincial General Services Office, the Provincial Engineer’s Office, and the Provincial Public Affairs Office for pulling off such a successful event. Special props to Focus Bulacan for capturing every magical moment!

And of course, massive thanks to the PNP Bulacan, PNP Malolos, Provincial Civil Security Office, Bulacan PDRRMO, and Malolos City Traffic Management Office for keeping everything safe and peaceful.

Manika Gon, you’re a superstar for always going above and beyond! And to all the hardworking folks behind the scenes, your dedication made this celebration one for the books.

We’re also thrilled to announce that we’ve chosen Bulacan to launch our first Philippines Province Lifestyle Magazine Series! What a fantastic decision!
